ONGC Petro
additions Limited (OPaL), a private joint venture company was
incorporated in November 2006, by Oil and Natural Gas
Corporation (ONGC)
and Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC), with 26 per cent
and 5 per cent stakes respectively. Later, Gas Authority of
India Limited (GAIL) also acquired a 19 per cent stake in OPaL.
OPaL aims to provide world-class products and services across
the globe. To achieve this, we shall make effective use of
technology, while being sensitive towards the environment at all
times. We want to establish a sustainable relationship with the
community at large for mutual benefit.
We have taken the first step towards attaining this. OPaL is
setting up a grass root Mega Petrochemical project in the PCPIR
/ SEZ zone at Port City of Dahej, Gujarat, India. The complex
will have a 1.1 Million tons Dual Feed cracker. It will mainly
produce HDPE (Swing and Dedicated lines), LLDPE, PP, Benzene,
Butadiene, CBFS and Pygas. We expect the production by December
2012.
Apart from the home turf, being in SEZ, OPaL will be marketing
substantial part of its produce in the international market. We
will have our offices and warehouses across the country to serve
our customers better.
In our endeavour, we seek like-minded partners. Hence,
Stakeholders and Investors are invited to join us in our
journey. |
