The 6th International Exhibition and Conference India Chem 2010, organized by FICCI and supported by Govt. of India, Department of chemicals and Petrochemicals came to an end on 30th Oct 2010, which started on 28th Oct 2010.
OPaL as the participating organization in the India Chem 2010 exhibition, had good exposure to people from all sectors of the marketing industry, especially suppliers, buyers, manufacturers and exporters were the ones who showed very keen interest and anticipation in OPaLs beginning of the production.
The event also presented a good platform for Companies from different sectors, like Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, Petrochemicals and Plastics and Technologies, Process plant Machinery & Automation systems.
The simultaneous process of the Conference and the Exhibition saw the presence of many honorable and renowned personalities including the presence of Smt. Pratibha Patil, President of India, Mr. M Raman, Secretary, Dept. of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Government of India, Mr. M K Alagiri, Minister for Chemicals & Fertilizers, GoI, Mr. S C Gupta, Joint Secretary, Dept. of Chemicals & Petrochemicals amongst others which graced the event..
Mr. M K Alagiri, Minister for Chemicals & Fertilizers visited our stall for brief moments before departing.
Within the span of 3 days, many dignitaries visited our stall along with potential customers & co-producers. The prominent amongst them were Mr. M. Raman, Secretary. Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals (DCPC), Mrs. NeelKamal Darbari, Joint Secretary, DCPC, Mr. S.C. Gupta, joint Secretary DCPC, Mr. P.S. Singh, Director, DCPC, Mr. R.J. Shah, CEO, Dahej SEZ Ltd. All the personages were accorded warm welcome by the OPaL team of CEO, Mr. P.K. Johri, Head-Marketing, Mr. Makarand Dixit & Sr. Manager, Mr. Dibyendu Deepak and were briefed about the project & its current status.
All the visitors appreciated the stall design and graphics especially the ticking clock counter, showing the remaining Days, Hours, Minutes and Seconds before the production starts.
By and large the event gave us a good coverage and was an achievement in itself because of the presence and cooperation of all the people, who supported it to become a success.
